The AIGA is an organization that stands for the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Every year they have a design conference which celebrates different young artists and gives people the ability to learn about what is going on in design today. With this project, I had the freedom to design a layout of my choosing. I decided to go with this triangle or pyramid design because it had just enough sections to fit all the information needed and had the optimal design for a pocket sized brochure. I wanted to make sure this design was easy enough to carry in a pocket or small bag throughout the four days of events. Each fold opens up a different section of information. For example, the schedule is a very important aspect of this design because the purpose is to have easy access to that information.
